About:

This program features the collaboration of top wind and percussion students combining with the Advanced Orchestra students.  In the Spring of 2019, we began an after school Symphonic Orchestra program and in Fall 2019, the course was added to the regular school day schedule.  Mr. Doerr is the primary Director of the ensemble, and the ensemble has grown to be one of the premiere ensembles on campus.  The Symphonic Orchestra performs at both Band and Orchestra concerts throughout the year, as well as participates in Chamber Festival, and the SCPA Band and Orchestra Festival in the Spring.

The string musicians have weekly sectionals scheduled for Mondays from 4:00 - 5:00.

In order to participate in this ensemble, students need prior director approval.
